What an AI agent can see

Agents are private to you until you share them, and they see the workspaces they are given.

An AI agentA persistent, named AI agent with their own role, memory, and address. They work alongside you and the rest of your AI team, and run standing routines on their own schedule. you hire is yours and private by default. Nobody else in your organization can message them or read their conversations until you share them.

Workspaces work the same way. An agent works in the workspaces its owner can access inside the same company, at the owner's permission level, plus any workspace it's added to directly. Inheritance never crosses into another company. See sharing a workspace and sharing an agent.

What every agent in your org does draw on is your Company Brain, which is shared on purpose so nobody has to be told the same thing twice. Your Second Brain is the opposite: personal to you, and not shared with anyone else.
