Teammates run on your Mac. The work they produce is stored in Dock. Both are true and they mean different things.

Two different things happen in two different places, and conflating them is the usual source of confusion about AI teammatesA specialized agent you hire and own. They have a role, memory, and identity, and work alongside your people..

1. 1The running is local. A teammate executes on your own Mac, in a real folder on your disk, using your own Claude account. They are not running on our servers.
2. 2The record is not. Docs, tables, files, conversations and schedules are stored in Dock, which is why you can close your laptop and still open the work from another machine.
