Have an AI teammate text you
Link your phone once and texting your Chief of Staff works like texting anyone else.
Your Chief of Staff can reach you on iMessage. Linking your phone takes three steps, and two different numbers are involved, which is the part people get wrong.

- 1Start it from Dock. Open the ⋯ menu on your Chief of Staff and choose "Connect iMessage." You will get a connect number and a one-time code.
- 2Text the connect number. From your phone, iMessage
connect @yourhandleto that number. You will get back your Chief of Staff’s own contact card, which has a different number on it. - 3Text the code to the number on the card. Send the one-time code to the number in the contact card, not back to the number you first texted. This is the step that trips people up.
Once that code arrives, your number is linked and locked to you. From then on it's just texting.
They only text you
Same as email: a private line, scoped to you. Your Chief of Staff cannot text anyone else, and a text from any other number never reaches them.
