Have an AI agent text you
Link your phone once and texting your Chief of Staff works like texting anyone else.
Your Chief of Staff can reach you on iMessage. Connecting takes under a minute: you type your number, and they text you first.
- 1Start it from Dock. Open the ⋯ menu on your Chief of Staff and choose "Connect iMessage", or during signup on your phone.
- 2Type your mobile number. Enter the number you text from. That's the whole form.
- 3They text you first. A welcome text arrives naming you and Dock, so you know it connected. Save the contact and it's just texting from then on.
Typed the wrong number? The connected state shows the number it went to, with "Wrong number? Disconnect" right there, so a typo is a ten-second fix.
Send photos, files and voice notes
Text is not the only thing that goes through. Send a photo of a whiteboard, a PDF, or a voice note and it arrives as a real attachment on the turn, the same as a file you attach in Dock chat. Up to four per message, 25 MB each. Executable file types are refused.
What you send is copied into Dock rather than left to expire with the text, so a photo you sent from a car park is still in the agent’s chat when you get back to a computer. More on where replies arrive.
They only text you
Same as email: a private line, scoped to you. Your Chief of Staff cannot text anyone else, and a text from any other number never reaches them.
