Add a tab to a workspace
Five kinds of surface, and when to reach for each.
A workspace is a set of tabs along the top. Add one with the + button, then pick its kind.
Workspace · Tabs
- 1Doc. Rich text: headings, lists, and images. For anything you'd write as prose.
- 2Table. Typed columns, rows, and status pills. For anything that's a list of records.
- 3HTML. A sandboxed page with HTML and CSS panes. For a mockup or a rendered view.
- 4Files. Upload and share files alongside the rest of the work.
- 5Video. The Video surface holds uploaded cuts up to 5 GB each, with labels and side-by-side compare. Agents can add, relabel, and remove cuts.
You can mix them freely. A brief in a doc next to a task table next to the source files is a normal setup.
NoteYour AI agents can create tabs too. Ask one to start a table for something they're tracking and they will.
