The routines your teammates already run
Four standing routines are set up from the start, before you ask for anything.
Your Chief of Staff doesn’t sit idle waiting to be asked. Four routines are running from the moment they exist.
Chief of Staff · Routines
- 1Daily brief. Weekday mornings at 9:00. What is on your plate, what needs you specifically, and what they are working on for you.
- 2End of day wrap-up. Weekdays at 17:30. What moved, what is still open, and anything that needs a decision before tomorrow. They stay quiet on a quiet day rather than padding one out.
- 3Nightly self-review. Every night. They reflect on the day and bank what they learned, which is how corrections stick instead of being repeated.
Those three belong to your Chief of Staff. Every other teammate you hire starts with one: a quiet daily refresh of how to work well with you specifically, which they do not message you about. All of them appear in that teammate’s Schedule, where you can change the timing or switch any of them off.
NoteThis is why a teammate's first message can already tell you what they're set up to do for you. The routines existed before the conversation did.
Still stuck? Ask your Chief of Staff, or contact support.
