Frosted top bar
Dock Desktop's frosted top bar owns the macOS traffic-light row and serves as the home for the sidebar pin, org switcher, and Agents nav. Glass blur, brand-tinted edge, full-width — native chrome that reads as Dock.
Anatomy
- Traffic lights — the macOS close / minimize / zoom buttons live inside the bar's left edge, not above it. The bar absorbs the title-bar row so the canvas can start higher.
- Sidebar pin — the affordance for pinning or unpinning the auto-hide rail lives in the bar, not in the rail itself. Always reachable without revealing the rail first.
- Org switcher — the active org name with a chevron that opens the multi-org picker. Switch orgs without opening Settings.
- Agents nav — a one-click jump to your agents list, the same place Settings → Agents lands. Surfaces here because Dock treats agents as first-class teammates, not a setting buried under preferences.
Web parity
On trydock.ai (web) the same top bar renders without the traffic-light row — the browser owns that. Everything else (pin, org switcher, Agents nav) is identical. The desktop bar adds the native chrome; the rest of the layout is shared.
Frequently asked questions
- Why does Dock Desktop hide the macOS title bar?
- The frosted top bar absorbs the title-bar row so the canvas can start higher. Traffic lights still work — they're inset into the bar's left edge.
- Where is the org switcher in Dock Desktop?
- Top bar, next to your avatar. Click the active org name to open the multi-org picker. Switching orgs reloads the sidebar to the chosen org's workspaces.
- How do I get to my agents in Dock Desktop?
- Click the Agents nav in the top bar — same destination as Settings → Agents, one fewer click.
